Do you have that one colleague you find challenging to communicate with, and another “work friend” whose company you genuinely enjoy, both during formal meetings and informal chats? Why is it that we naturally connect with some people while finding others more difficult to engage with? This workshop is designed to help you uncover your unique strengths and contributions to your team while gaining a deeper understanding of the roles, personalities, and dynamics others bring to the workplace.
This course explores the critical role of building and empowering teams to drive organizational success. Key topics include team dynamics, effective role assignments, and leadership strategies that foster positive team outcomes. Participants will learn how to harness their behavioral style as team leaders and effectively manage diverse, cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.

Program Objectives

During the module, with the use of gamified assessment, participants will understand their individual contributions and strengths, and roles they play in the team, and what they bring as an advantage. During the discussions, a special focus will be placed on complementary, competing, and conflicting roles so that the group dynamic is better understood in the future, with the goal of better team engagement and productivity.
  • Understand individual strengths to use them in leading others.

  • Understand conflicting roles to better navigate conflicts in teams

Who should attend

This leadership course is ideal for new or experienced managers in any function who want to become better leaders. Because management requires analysing complex challenges, participants should expect to grapple with ambiguous situations that do not have simple solutions

No-Show Policy for LSB MBA Students/Alumni
Registration for this program is free of charge for LSB MBA Students/Alumni. However, in order to ensure responsible use of limited seats and respect for the commitment involved in program delivery, a no-show fee of EUR 50 will apply to participants who fail to attend the program without having notified the Executive Education team in advance.
To summarize:
Attendance: No charge will be applied.
Cancellation with prior notice: No charge will be applied, provided the Executive Education team is informed at least 3 business days before the program start date.
No-show (failure to attend without prior notice): A fee of EUR 50 will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of registration within 5 business days following the program date.
By completing the registration process, participants acknowledge and agree to the terms of this no-show policy.

Faculty

Dr Mirna Korican Lajtman is a Professor at the Luxembourg School of Business and the Zagreb School of Economics and Management. With over two decades of expertise, she has provided strategic consulting to prestigious organisations, including the European Investment Fund, MOL, PwC, TEVA and Samsung. She has directed MBA programs, contributed to various EU projects, and lectured at institutions such as St. Ambrose University (USA), John Carroll University (USA), ESB Business School (Germany), and Vilnius University (Lithuania), among others.

Luxembourg School of Business is accredited by the Luxembourg Ministry of Higher Education and Research and recognised as a continuing education organisation. As a result, your company can benefit from financial aid from the Luxembourgish state for the training of its employees.

  • Tax Deductibility for an individual

Any taxpayer with net income from a salaried occupation may deduct the cost of professional development as business expenses (frais d’obtention) from their taxable income from the salaried occupation. Further training expenses which are related to the taxpayer’s current activity fall within the scope of the acquisition costs of article 105 of the ITA and are therefore deductible from taxable income.

The course takes place from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

This course will be held at our NEW campus in Gasperich/Cloche d’Or. 
By Car: Free parking is available at Park&Ride Stade de Luxembourg, 420, route d’Esch (8 minutes walk to LSB)
By Bus: The “Schaarfen Eck” bus stop is just a 2-minute walk from the school.
