School history and Accreditations

Created in 2014, LSB is Luxembourg’s first business school accredited by the Ministry of Research and Higher Education of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg.

National accreditations:

Luxembourg School of Business is accredited by the Luxembourg Ministry of Higher Education and Research. The accreditation applies to the entire institution as well as to the Master of Business Administration and the Master of Management programs.

Luxembourg School of Business was re-accredited via a ministerial decree dated as of 26 of April 2022 for the duration of five years. For more information here is the list of institutions and programs that are officially accredited in Luxembourg.

Candidates attending LSB Bachelor or Master programs are eligible for student visas and work permit (after finishing their studies).

International Accreditations

LSB is the only Luxembourgish institution that is a member of AACSB international. LSB is currently undergoing the accreditation process with AACSB.

Accredited degrees offered by LSB

LSB Governing Bodies

Board of Administrators is the main governing body of the School. The Board determines the strategic direction of the School and nominates the Dean and the Managing Director of the School.

The Advisory Council is the highest advising body of LSB comprised of representatives of local and international business and academic community. Its role is to advise the Board, the Dean and the Managing Director on key topics related to the school’s strategy and curriculum development.

Faculty Board is the highest academic body of the School. It determines the academic strategy and of the organisation and sets rules and policies for academic success.

The Student Council is comprised of all students. Each student is represented in the council by the class representative of the class they belong to. Council’s functions are primarily executed by the class representatives, who bear the decision-making rights and responsibilities.
