LSB Students Win Shapeathon 2026
Proud moment for the LSB community! On March 7th, Hena Khudsia, Bharadwaj Chadaram, and Xiaoling Yan — three of our Full-Time MBA students — took part in Shapeathon 2026, an annual social innovation competition organized by the Global Shapers Luxembourg City Hub, affiliated with the World Economic Forum.
We are thrilled to share that Hena and Bharadwaj, as part of team Think Pink Lux, were selected as winners by the jury. This is exactly what the LSB spirit looks like beyond the classroom. Here is how Hena experienced it:
Hena Khudsia
Full-Time MBA Student, Luxembourg School of Business
Barry and I were assigned to Think Pink Lux: a 16-year-old Luxembourg ASBL doing incredible work in breast cancer advocacy, education, fundraising for research, and supporting patients and their families.
Their challenge was one a lot of growing organizations face: governance was getting overwhelming. They needed an IT solution to better manage their activities, GDPR-compliant data storage, a smoother donor onboarding process, and most importantly, something to take the load off their volunteers who were burning out from too many manual tasks.
We spent the whole day brainstorming. Our recommendations ranged from implementing an existing ERP, documenting volunteer workflows to cut out redundant tasks, leveraging NGO-friendly data storage offers from tech companies, to partnering with a local Luxembourg ERP expert. The key was finding something simple, integrable, and easy to learn.
What made it even more exciting, within just a few hours, we also built a working prototype using Lovable, an AI tool. It had a visual dashboard, email tracking, donor onboarding, grant lifecycle management, query logging, and an AI assistant. All the things they needed, live and functional.
At the end of the day, each team pitched their solutions in four minutes. We learned a lot from hearing everyone else’s work too. The jury ended up selecting our team as the winners and seeing how happy and grateful the ThinkPinkLux ladies were made the whole day worth it.
Great networking, great people, great cause. Definitely one of those events that reminds you how much you can get done in a single day when the energy is right.
Congratulations to Hena, Bharadwaj, and Xiaoling for representing LSB with excellence — and a special round of applause for the well-deserved win!
