Overview

Effective cross-cultural and international management is crucial in a world that is becoming more interconnected. This course gives students the tools, frameworks, and practical knowledge they need to comprehend and handle the challenges of doing business internationally. Students will learn how best practices for managing international teams, cross-cultural communication, and global leadership. The course encourages the development of a global mindset and strategic agility by combining cases, simulations, and introspection.

Faculty

Namrata Goyal is Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior at ESADE Business School, where she also serves as Academic Director of the Decision Lab. Her teaching and research focus on decision making, social influence, and leadership—particularly in complex, multicultural environments. She holds a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the New School for Social Research in New York City and completed her postdoctoral research at Columbia Business School. Her work has been published in leading academic journals and featured by media outlets such as the BBC. In 2023, she was recognized as one of the world’s top 40 under 40 MBA professors by Poets & Quants. In addition to her academic work, Namrata has designed and delivered executive education programs for major companies in Spain, helping leaders navigate complexity, enhance cultural intelligence, and drive organizational change. At ESADE, she teaches in the MBA program, bringing a dynamic, evidence-based approach to leadership development.

  • Tax Deductibility for individual

Any taxpayer with net income from a salaried occupation may deduct the cost of professional development as business expenses (frais d’obtention) from his taxable income from the salaried occupation. Further training expenses which are related to the taxpayer’s current activity fall within the scope of the acquisition costs of article 105 of the ITA and are therefore deductible from taxable income.

Practical information

The course takes place from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

This course will be held at our NEW campus in Gasperich/Cloche d’Or. 
By Car: Free parking is available at Park&Ride Stade de Luxembourg, 420, route d’Esch (8 minutes walk to LSB)
By Bus: The “Schaarfen Eck” bus stop is just a 2-minute walk from the school.
