The Bachelor in International Business is a program designed to prepare students for success in the global business world.

Our program focuses on three key areas: practical learning, international exposure, and real-life experience via internships and company projects.

Beyond traditional business courses, you will also learn about foreign languages, digital, and soft skills, as we believe that these competencies are essential for success in the 21st-century workplace.

Deadlines and Requirements for the Academic Year 2025/26

To enroll in our 3-year program and obtain the title: Bachelor in International Business (180 ECTS), please review the following admission requirements and deadlines.

Admissions Deadlines

Early Action deadline: 15th December 2024.

    • Early action plan is for students for whom Luxembourg School of Business is their top choice and who also want an admission decision earlier than the Regular Decision process.
    • Since applications submitted under the Early Action Plan will have priority over those submitted under the Regular Decision Plan, it is expected that students will receive their final admission decision by 30th January 2025.
    • Requests for accommodation in Luxembourg will also be prioritized for applications under the Early action plan.
Admissions Requirements

Students who want to enroll in the Program need to hold at least one of the following diplomas: 

 Accepted Luxembourgish high school diplomas: 

  • Luxembourgish diploma at the end of classical, general secondary education or technical secondary education 
  • Luxembourgish technician’s diploma with all the prescribed preparatory modules (please get in contact with Sam Dallow (sam.dallow@luxsb.lu) for further questions about this diploma) 

 

Accepted International high school diplomas:  

  • National diplomas from the following countries are accepted:

Admissions Procedure

1. Online Application

Upload supporting documentation. Documents can be in English, French, German, Luxembourgish, Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese.

  • Updated CV
  • A copy of both sides of the identity card with a clearly visible photograph of the candidate
  • Letter of motivation (max one page) to join LSB and the Bachelor in International Business program.
  • Letter(s) of recommendation (optional)
  • Copy of high school diploma from Luxembourg or recognized by the Ministry of Education (if already held, or upon receipt)
  • Proof of English proficiency

 

Step 1

Online admission test for eligible candidates.

Step 2

For candidates who passed the admission test: 2 interviews in person for local students, online for international students.

The Bachelor in International Business: A Wise Investment in Your Future

Pricing policy for the Academic year 2025/26:

for EU citizens:

Applications received under the Early Action Plan:

  • from 1st September 2024 to 15th December 2024: the tuition fee is EUR 9,800 per year

 

Applications received under the Regular Decision Plan:

  • from 16th December 2024 to 31st January 2025: the tuition fee is EUR 10,200 per year
  • from 1st February 2025 to 31st March 2025: the tuition fee is EUR 10,500 per year
  • from 1st April 2025 to 31st July 2025: the tuition fee is EUR 10,800 per year

 

For NON EU citizens who need a VISA or Authorization to stay in Luxembourg:

Applications received under the Early Action Plan:

  • from 1st September 2024 to 15th December 2024: the tuition fee is EUR 12,800 per year

Applications received under the Regular Decision Plan:

  • from 16th December 2024 to 31st January 2025: the tuition fee is EUR 13,400 per year
  • from 1st February 2025 to 31st March 2025: the tuition fee is EUR 13,700 per year
  • from 1st April 2025 to 30th June 2025: the tuition fee is EUR 14,100 per year

Candidates who pay the full tuition in one installment benefit from a 10% offer

Education is an investment. How to finance it?

 

There are a number of ways to finance your studies at Luxembourg School of Business. Here is the general overview of tools and instruments available:

  • Luxembourg State Scholarships and loans (for Luxembourg residents and students whose parents work in Luxembourg only)
  • LSB Scholarships
  • LSB Deferred Tuition Facility
Scholarships for Luxembourgish students (and residents)

The Luxembourg State can grant scholarships for students in higher or university education as well as loans.

The Luxembourgish state provides scholarships and a student loan to anyone enrolled in higher education and fulfilling certain conditions.

Application deadlines

  • August 1 to November 30 (winter semester)
  • January 1 to April 30 (summer semester)

  • Base scholarship

These scholarships can be cumulated.

Scholarships for children of cross-border workers in Luxembourg (frontaliers)

In Luxembourg, there are several scholarships available to children of cross-border workers. These scholarships are intended to help families finance their children’s higher education.

LSB Scholarships

 

A limited number of scholarships are available from the Luxembourg School of Business.

Students can apply for the scholarship only after completing the whole application process on our website, submitting their documents, and paying the 100 euro fee. The Scholarship can cover up from 5% to 50% of the tuition fees.

Scholarships:

  • Emerging markets: This scholarship is awarded to students who come from emerging markets, such as countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
  • Social engagement:  This scholarship is awarded to students who are passionate about social engagement and who have a proven track record of giving back to their communities.
  • International Entrepreneur:  Awarded to candidates who have started their own company and are currently running it.
  • Merit-Based Scholarship: Awarded to outstanding candidates due to their excellent academic track record to acquire business knowledge and managerial skills to continue thriving in the business world.

Scholarship criteria are based on being able to provide evidence-based on:

  • Outstanding Academic record or graduation with honors
  • References from university/professors
  • Letter of motivation
  • Financial need (the financial need aspect will be judged based on the student’s/parents’ annual revenue proof)

Scholarships are limited and are given only to outstanding candidates.

Entry Requirements, Health Insurance, Bank Account

Before your arrival at Luxembourg School of Business

  1. Entry Requirements for EU citizens

If you are a citizen of an EU Member State (or Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland), you do not need a visa or authorization to stay for your studies at Luxembourg School of Business.

To enter Luxembourg and enroll at LSB you need:

  • ID or passport
  • health insurance (covering the entire period of your study exchange). More information below
  1. Entry Requirements for NON EU citizens

A.  Authorization to Stay (ATS)

You have to apply for the Temporary authorization to stay (ATS) immediately after receiving the Letter of Admission from LSB

 

! IMPORTANT ! Instructions for the ATS application

The process to obtain ATS may take several weeks, it is therefore crucial that you meet the deadline for ATS application. In case you do not submit your ATS application before deadline, you will no longer be considered for a student at Luxembourg School of Business

B. Visa

Visa requirements are depending on your country of citizenship. Check whether you have to obtain a visa to enter the Schengen area.

Request a type D visa after you obtain the temporary authorisation to stay. 

If the third-country national is subject to the visa requirement, he must, with his authorization to stay, submit before his trip and from his country of origin, an application for a type D visa to the diplomatic representation or consular office of Luxembourg in its country of origin, or with the embassy or consulate of the country in the Schengen Area which represents Luxembourg there in matters of visa delivery (Belgian embassy or consulate only).

C. Health Insurance

On your arrival to LSB, you have to provide a proof of your health insurance for the entire period of your study exchange.

You have the following options:

a) provide a valid European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)

b) provide a confirmation of a private health insurance within Europe that specifies the beginning and the end date of coverage. Documents from outside Europe will not be accepted in Luxembourg.

c) pay for Luxembourg national health insurance on their arrival to Luxembourg School of Business  (see below) and benefit from the Student fees which are the most advantageous.

National health insurance in Luxembourg:

In case you do not have a health insurance on your arrival, you have the possibility to pay for the health insurance directly at LSB. You will be affiliated to the national “Centre commune de sécurité sociale » and you will be required to pay the health insurance fees for the whole year.

Bear in mind that if you are NOT covered by any health insurance valid in Europe, you will not be reimbursed in case of illness or hospitalization. All medical cost would be at your own expense.
