Dr. Teodóra Szabó-Douat

Associate professor of Marketing

Teodóra Szabó-Douat is an Associate Professor at the Luxembourg School of Business, and the Academic Director of the Master in Management Program. She received her Ph.D. in Business from Baruch College at The City University of New York.

Prior to joining LSB, she worked as an Assistant Professor at the Information Management School of NOVA University in Lisbon, Portugal. She also worked at the Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, as the Admissions and Program Manager of the Corporate International Master’s – a joint program of FGV, ESADE, and Georgetown University.

She holds an MSc in Economics from the Corvinus University of Budapest, an MPhil from The Graduate Center, CUNY, and an MBA from the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, CUNY.

Teodóra has papers published in high-quality international journals, such as the Journal of the Association for Consumer Research, Marketing Theory, and the Journal of Service Theory and Practice. Her main research interests are consumer behavior, consumer well-being, sustainability, technology and AI, branding, and cross-cultural research.
