Dr. Eric Laux
Dr. Eric Laux is a Lecturer at the Luxembourg School of Business, teaching in the MBA program as well as in a variety of Executive Education programs. Originally from Luxembourg, Eric is currently living in Switzerland and works for Credit Suisse in Zurich within the IWM Northern Europe Business Area.
Over the last 10 years, he worked for on topics of strategic relevance in PE, banking and consulting. He started his professional career as a consultant for the Boston Consulting Group in Belgium and also Booz & Company in Germany, focusing on a variety of topics covering strategy assignments, HR / lean organization among others with a focus on Finance and tech industries.
In 2013, Eric moved back to Luxembourg to join Banque Internationale à Luxembourg (BIL), where he led multiple strategic projects covering M&A, business development or restructuring topics. He also acted as interim COO for BIL Dubai. In 2017, Eric moved to Switzerland working for a PE firm in Zug before joining Credit Suisse.
He holds an MBA from IESE, Barcelona and a Ph.D. in Nanotechnology from the University of Strasbourg. He is an author of research papers as well as business-related case studies for business learning.
