Dr. Eric Hübsch, Lecturer at Luxembourg School of Business

Dr. Eric Hübsch

Dr. Eric Hübsch has 18 years of experience in innovation and project management in the chemical industry.

Today, he is the Lead Scientist in the Application Development Team of DuPont de Nemours – Shelter (Water & Protection) and certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. During his career, he had several assignments in diverse businesses at DuPont, ranging from R&D to MT (manufacturing technology), resulting in multiple technological/process improvement and innovative product launches backed up by six publications and five granted patents (with a further three pending). 

Eric completed his Ph.D. in physical chemistry at the University of Strasbourg, France. His research focused on interfaces of L-B-L multilayers with living cells and their interaction mechanisms. Before he completed two master’s degrees: one in physical chemistry and one in organic chemistry, both focused on macromolecular interactions on interfaces. Recently he obtained a Master of Business Administration from the Luxembourg School of Business (Cum Laude).

He is passionate about innovation and value creation/co-creation for demanding customers and cross-functional team leadership leveraging data-driven project management tools (like Six Sigma, AGILE, Design Thinking, The Learning Machine). In 2023, he had the chance to help facilitate Six Sigma Green Belt’s (SSGB) and LEAN training sessions for DuPont and became a lecturer at the Luxembourg School of Business (LSB).
