Jeff Steiner

Jeff Steiner is a Clinical Associate Professor of Management at the Stern School of Business at New York University Abu Dhabi. He has taught a wide variety of management and leadership courses at the undergraduate, graduate and executive levels from both Stern’s New York and Abu Dhabi campuses, including Leadership in OrganizationsProfessional Responsibility, and Managing Change.

Prior to and alongside his academic career, Professor Steiner worked extensively in the fields of Human Resources and Executive Coaching. Previously, he was the COO of Global Talent Development at Morgan Stanley in New York and an Executive Coach for Harvard Business School Executive Education.

Broadly, his professional interests lie at the intersection of work and well-being, focusing on issues of the Employee Experience (“EX”). His current work explores how organizations and their leaders can more effectively harness employee listening programs.

Professor Steiner received his PhD in Organisational Behaviour from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Miami.
