Prof. Dr. Zoltan Horvath

Zoltan Horvath is a Full-Time MBA Academic Director at the Luxembourg School of Business. He has 25+ years of professional experience in finance and as an entrepreneur. He worked in the Transaction Advisory Services group of Ernst & Young in Budapest, Hungary focusing on Mergers & Acquisition and Project Financing, and in the Global Capital Markets service of Merrill Lynch in London, UK as an equity analyst. He then turned away from the corporate world and became a serial entrepreneur. Zoltan Horvath earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from St. Jonh’s University, (NY, NY), and an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business (Charlottesville, Virginia). He obtained his PhD from the Université de Nice Sophia Antipolis (Nice, France). He taught several courses at the International University of Monaco (Bachelor), Université de Nice Sophia Antipolis (Master of Finance and Master of Management), Sacred Heart University Luxembourg (MBA), and HEC Liège Luxembourg (MBA). At HEC Liège Luxembourg he also held the position of Head of Academy before joining the Luxembourg School of Business in 2024.
