Dr. George J. Siedel

Dr. George J. Siedel is a Professor at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and a Professor at the Luxembourg School of Business. He is an expert on negotiation and teaches a course entitled “Power and Persuasion” at the Luxembourg School of Business MBA program.

He has also served on several boards of directors and as Associate Dean of the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. Professor Siedel has served as Visiting Professor of Business Law at Stanford University, Visiting Professor of Business Administration at Harvard University, and Parsons Fellow at the University of Sydney. As a Fulbright Scholar, Professor Siedel held a Distinguished Chair in the Humanities and Social Sciences.

Prof. Siedel has published several books and dozens of academic articles. His most recent publication is a book entitled “Negotiating for Success: Essential Strategies and Skills”.

George received his B.A. degree from the College of Wooster, J.D. degree from the University of Michigan, and a Diploma in Comparative Legal Studies from Cambridge University, where he was a Ford Foundation fellow.
