The Mini-MBA Foundations courses have been developed by professors from some of the world’s most prestigious academic institutions to provide an intensive learning experience for professionals with a technical or specific background.
Each course integrates business and industry applications and covers all core areas of general management, including Leadership, Finance, Negotiation, and Digitalisation.

The Mini-MBA Foundations is open to professionals with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in any area and proficiency in English.
Participants are selected from diverse educational backgrounds, across various industries from international organisations, small and medium-sized enterprises, and public institutions.

Content
The sessions for the Mini MBA program will be spread over 11 days of courses between February and June. The Mini-MBA is designed around major business topics such as Leadership, Finance, Negotiation, Marketing, and Digitalisation.
You’ll be provided with a selection of cases to read in preparation for each module, and you are encouraged to think and bring along any personal goals, challenges, and questions you may have.
Mini-MBA Certificate
Upon completion of the assessments, you will receive a certificate to add to your CV and LinkedIn profile, and ECTS credits, a head start toward earning a graduate degree in the future.
Workload
Before the start of each module, you can expect about 2-4 hours of individual preparation (reading, case studies, etc.). For the online assessment, the workload is estimated at about 2-4 hours per module.

Assessment, study materials, and catering are included.
The payment of the Mini MBA is deductible from the tuition fees for the Weekend MBA starting in September 2023.

Tax deductibility for individual
Any taxpayer with net income from a salaried occupation may deduct the cost of professional development as business expenses (frais d’obtention) from his taxable income from the salaried occupation.
Further training expenses which are related to the taxpayer’s current activity fall within the scope of the acquisition costs of article 105 of the ITA and are therefore deductible from taxable income. Learn more here.

Overview
This course helps managers to think beyond the online communication revolution and understand the profound consumer behavior transformation that we are experiencing, to redefine new marketing charters, strategies, and organizations.
Objectives
We will provide the necessary tools to define and implement the new strategies in the areas of Go-to-market, product management, and consumer engagement.
Assessment
The online assessment is based on a case study analysis and a final presentation.
Faculty
Pau Virgili, professor of Marketing at Esade, is an expert in new technologies, management, and marketing. Previously, he was the General Manager of Marketing Europe at HP FMCG and Marketing Manager Europe at Plantronics. Pau Virgili has an MBA (University of Chicago) and is a co-author of the book ”The reconciliation with the customer’. Pau has carried out consultancy projects in consumer relations management for HP, Nike, Coca Cola, and others.
Overview
During the module, with the use of gamified assessment, participants will understand their individual contributions and strengths, roles they play in the team, and what they bring as an advantage. During the discussions a special focus will be placed on complementing, competing, and conflicting roles so that the group dynamic is better understood in the future with the goal of better team engagement and productivity.

Faculty
Dr. Mirna Korican Lajtman obtained her Ph.D. from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. Dr. Koričan Lajtman is a Professor at the Luxembourg School of Business. She expanded her professional expertise during study visits at partner universities St. Ambrose University, USA and John Carroll University, USA and IESE (Spain) and she is also a visiting professor at ESB Business School, Reutlingen University (Germany).

This module is suitable for managers, directors, lawyers, and professionals of all levels, across any industry, who are expected to make business decisions with a direct financial impact on their business’s bottom line.
Objectives
Finance for Managers is a program that will teach you how to create a budget, manage costs, and use financial information to make decisions.
Assessment
The online assessment is based on the development of a financial plan.
Faculty
Dr. Grubisic started his career in 2002 in the USA as a finance analyst in Sodexho Inc. In 2007, he became Head of Corporate Finance within Erste Group in charge of the Croatian market. Erste Group Bank AG is one of the largest financial services providers in Central and Eastern Europe serving 15.7 million clients. In 2010, he started a corporate finance firm: Grubisic & Partners focusing on Mergers and Acquisitions, Capital Raising, Valuations, and due diligence.

In this unique module, Jan Mühlfeit teaches you how to identify and capitalize on your strengths and those of each member of your team.
Faculty
Jan Mühlfeit, former Chairman of Europe for Microsoft, is a global strategist with a proven track record in building successful teams and organizations. He spent almost 22 years working for Microsoft, the last 15 of which were in top management. His last post before he left in 2014 was Chairman Europe of the Microsoft Corporation, a position he held from 2007. Jan coaches top executives around the world and works with the Luxembourg School of Business, INSEAD, and Cambridge University.

In the modern business world, many organizations are competing in a more global forum. Negotiating with partners from different countries and cultures can present unique challenges and barriers – and our unique Cross-Cultural Negotiation Course will provide a set of proven strategies that will help you along the route of cross-cultural negotiations.
Participants should understand the primary cultural ingredients that come into play in business and other relationships with partners from different cultures.
A set of interactive negotiation exercises will introduce participants to negotiation principles that extend across any culture, then the ways that national cultural differences may influence negotiators’ priorities, interests, strategies, and ethical limits.

Daniel McCray is a lecturer at Cornell University. He is an expert in workplace negotiation, mediation and arbitration. As Practice Leader and Director of the Labor Relations Programs, Daniel McCray is responsible for developing and teaching professional education programs in negotiations for professionals working in the United States, Europe and Latin America. Dan has taught and facilitated dozens of management and union teams.

This course will provide a foundation of leadership fundamentals for new leaders. Participants will have a deeper understanding of the key contributors to team performance and will be equipped with a number of tactical tools and approaches to immediately put into practice within their organization. He combines teaching with Strategic Management consulting through his own firm Peak Business Advisory, since 2008. Experience in 20 sectors-industries.
