Negotiation is a problem-solving tool, where each side is encouraged to “separate people from the problem.” But what if people are the problem?
Based on the strategy and tactics used by crisis and hostage negotiators, this conference will provide an overview of how to negotiate and deal in everyday work life with highly emotional people, liars, and narcissists.
Professor at Cornell University, Dan McCray is an expert in workplace negotiation, mediation and arbitration. As Director of the Labor Relations Programs, Dan is responsible for developing professional education programs in negotiations, conflict resolution, collective bargaining for professionals working for unions and employers in the United States, Europe and Latin America.
During his career, Dan facilitated dozens of management and union teams, with a particular emphasis on executing an effective negotiating strategy.
