Today, China accounts for 9.3% of the global GDP. As much as this seems like a recent phenomenon, China has been the world’s largest economy for the bigger part of the last two millennia. Its influence in the economy, science or diplomacy will certainly shape the 21st century.
Join us for an evening conference with Dr. Zheng Han from Tongji University in Shanghai and learn more about China, how it perceives the world, its own history, and how it can respond to the challenges which lie ahead of it.
Professor Dr. Zheng HAN is Chair Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Tongji University in Shanghai and a guest professor at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
Before his academic career, he gained relevant experience working for McKinsey & Company in Germany. Prof. Han also served as Chief Investment Advisor of the Haniel Group, a Fortune Global 500 company, in China for 7 years.
Prof. Han frequently gives keynote speeches for major companies such as BASF, BOSCH, Continental or Volkswagen.
